Danger Mouse

In an interesting turn of events, EMI has told music producer and musician Danger Mouse that, due to “legal issues”, his (and his collaborators’) newest CD will not be hitting the shelves. In retaliation, Danger Mouse is instead releasing a blank CD inside a case with full liner notes and album art, and releasing the music on the Internet.

Fans can just download the music and burn it on to the included CD, which will all be labeled: “For Legal Reasons, enclosed CD-R contains no music. Use it as you will.”. You can listen to the official streams at NPR’s website.
