Quotation of the Day

The aging process has you firmly in its grasp if you never get the urge to throw a snowball. — Doug Larson

Here, here! When my grandmother was starting her seventies, she was the one eagerly leading my parents and I up a mountain in Western Java for a four hour trek to the top; five years later, she decided that it was about time that she learned to swim, and so donning a pair of shorts and a t-shirt (a strange sight for us to get used to, only ever seeing her in traditional South Indian saaris) she happily hopped in the pool; and in her 81st year, she learned how to email her children and SMS her grandkids, which she now does regularly.

To me, this is what truly living life is all about–when you don’t let any of this aging-shmaging stuff bother you in the slightest.
